Day at the Zoo
On the spur of the moment we decided to take advantage of some nice weather and go visit the Fort Worth Zoo. Here are a few pictures from our day:

4th of July weekend
Next to Christmas, Independence Day is our favorite holiday. This year we started off by going to the KaboomTown fireworks in Addison on the 3rd. The next day we woke up and went to the Plano parade (which was just down the street from us) and that afternoon we drove to Mike’s (Tony’s boss) lake house for swimming, barbecue and more fireworks.

I’m walkin’, yes indeed, I’m walkin’…
For the past 2-3 weeks John has been taking a few steps here and there. In the last few days, he has switched to primarily walking. We officially have a toddler on our hands 
Here’s the self-made “walker” he used to get himself started. It’s a stool he turned upside down and used to balance himself while walking.
